The Link Up: A Black Business Month Mixer, Indianapolis
About this Event
Indy, it's time we all got in one room.
The Link Up is a new event series from Indy Black Businesses, launching during National Black Business Month. Vol. 1 is a free evening social in Indianapolis where the city's Black-owned businesses and the people who love supporting them finally meet face to face. Not to buy, not to sell, just to link up and hear the stories behind the businesses you already follow.
Own a business? Come claim your moment on the mic. Love supporting local? Come find your new favorite spot, stylist, baker, or brand.
What to expect
- Open mic: Owners get 60 seconds to introduce their business to the whole room. It gets loud.
- Meet the owners: Talk directly to the people behind the businesses you already follow.
- The Barter Board: One wall, two columns, I GOT and I NEED. Owners post what they offer or what they're missing, browse and connect if something clicks.
Who this is for
Everyone. Run a Black-owned business? Grab the mic and get in front of a room built to root for you. Just love supporting local? Come meet the people behind the businesses you follow, no pitch decks, no dress code, no ticket beyond a free RSVP.
