Taking the Lindisfarne Gospels as a springboard, Geoff Miller, Dean of Newcastle, explores how precious things are often elaborately adorned to honour their spiritual significance. Includes optional tour of Newcastle Cathedral.
The duration of the talk is approximately 1 hour - the ticket also includes admission into the Lindisfarne Gospels exhibition at 4-4.30pm. The exhibition ticket is valid for 90 minutes from the time you enter the exhibition.
