The Linda Ronstadt Experience with American Idol Star Tristan McIntosh is the premier touring tribute band showcasing the songs that Linda Ronstadt made famous. The show takes you on a musical journey of smash hit songs, including “You’re No Good,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “That’ll Be the Day,” and a particularly delicate, nuanced interpretation of “Blue Bayou,” among many more. To convey the majesty and impact of McIntosh’s powerful vocal quality is hard to put into words. She exudes poise and grace, with a delivery both electrifying and subtle, by turns. Tristan brings the original singer’s version stunningly alive through her own artful touch. A sea of listeners throughout a theater can often be heard quietly singing along at the summit of “You’re No Good,” drawing out that famous, 8-second vowel. Tristan McIntosh – American Idol Finalist | Lead Vocalist for The Linda Ronstadt Experience.
Tristan’s love of singing began at the age of eight, it was almost as if she had no choice. Her Father’s record collection set the tone and direction for how she saw life, love and loss. Marvin Gaye, Linda Ronstadt, Al Green, Norah Jones, they all have a place. It wasn’t a conscious choice because some things just are what they are. Soul, Jazz, Country, and Pop all live in her heart and she makes no apologies for it. Now, at 24 Tristan has made her passion for music the most defining part of her young life. Melody, lyrics and emotion are what drives her, they are the vocabulary she uses to introduce herself and create relationships that hopefully will last for years.
John Monthei – Guitar & Pedal Steel
John was born and raised in Central Connecticut where he learned to play guitar at a young age and
later on, learned to play Bluegrass banjo. After playing banjo in a Connecticut based Bluegrass band named Kentucky Wind
for a few years he decided to learn pedal steel guitar and eventually ended up in Kansas City
with a band named Riverrock traveling and performing throughout the Midwest. John returned to Connecticut
and played with several local bands including the Monthei Brothers Band with twin brother Joe. John is also an
inductee in both the Kansas Music Hall of Fame and the Connecticut Country Music Hall of Fame.
Ethan Leff – Drums
Whether it was tapping his fingers on a table or opening for Joe Lynn Turner, Ethan Leff could always be found drumming. Starting at the young age of nine, Ethan began his career in Manhattan, New York, eventually performing at Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. To further his skills, he fully immersed himself into multiple music programs such as School of Rock, The Collective School of Music and, Berklee College of music. Where in 2019 he earned his degree in drum set performance. In 2021 Ethan Joined The Linda Ronstadt Experience featuring Tristan McIntosh. Please follow Ethan on YouTube @ethanleff.
Bradley Goff – Keys Multi-Instrumentalist & back-up vocals.
Multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and composer Brad Goff is a musical chameleon. Equally at home playing jazz fusion, country rock, or his own brand of 60’s and 70’s inspired over-the-top pop rock, Brad prioritizes playing music with heart, with musicians who share his burning passion for the art form. While he is a proficient solo act, Brad really shines in a band setting, whether as a hired gun or band leader. Brad’s latest singles ‘Heart of Mine’ and ‘Georgia, Come Home!’ are reminiscent of The Beatles and Queen, along with flavors of his jazz and roots-rock influences.
Both singles, as well as his releases with his jazz fusion band Big Whisper are available for streaming on Spotify and other platforms.
Paul Junior Boyne, Bass Player and Founder of The Linda Ronstadt Experience.
I discovered the power of the bass at an early age turning my Dad’s car radio dial all the way up and the bass vibrations coming through that speaker had his plastic Jesus dancing clear across the dashboard. I’m a veteran of the Northeast music scene having played, recorded and performed with several icons including Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Johnny Winter, Peter Wolf, Joe Bonamassa and many others.
Sam Crawford – Electric Guitar
Boston based Sam Crawford is a guitarist and singer known for a wide variety of styles, including Country, Rock, and Jazz. He has toured the U.S. and Europe with a variety of acts, most notably with Ward Hayden and the Outliers, the Linda Ronstadt Experience, and as a member of Clamb. Crawford is also an active guitar teacher and session player, with professional recording credits going back to 2005. As an adolescent he took weekly lessons from guitarist Steve Ide, who is best known for his long tenure with folk legend Arlo Guthrie. While attending Manhattanville College, Crawford studied with Jay Azzolina, a veteran of the New York City Jazz scene. He holds a BA in music with a minor in philosophy.
