The Light Within: Yoga Philosophy for the Dark SeasonAs the days grow shorter and the world turns inward, yoga philosophy reminds us that light is not only external, but an eternal flame carried within. The darker season invites contemplation, restoration, and a remembering of the inner radiance that guides us through cycles of change.
In this workshop, we will draw from classical yogic teachings- to explore how yogis understood the relationship between darkness and light, ignorance and wisdom, contraction and expansion. Together we will reflect on how these timeless teachings can support us in navigating the modern challenges of winter: fatigue, heaviness, and longing for clarity.
Through philosophical reflection, guided meditation, and grounding practice, we’ll illuminate ways to kindle the inner flame of awareness, steadiness, and resilience. This is an opportunity to move with the season, rather than against it, and to find a deeper connection with the quiet power of light that always shines within.
