The Life of Mary Olmsted – Presented By The Friends of Olmsted-Beil House

Presented by Friends of Olmsted-Beil House. Artist-historian Giuseppe Settinieri will present on the life of Staten Islander Mary Cleveland Olmsted. Mary is mainly known as the wife of journalist, social critic, and Central Park co-designer Frederick Law Olmsted. We will learn more about this amazing and prominent woman, including her role as manager of Tosomock Farm, the Olmsted farm on Staten Island.

Lecture will be from 1-2pm proceeded by a reception with light refreshments. Registration is required.
