The presentation will take place in the Assembly Room on the Library's main level.Green has a BS and an MS in English and biology from Indiana University. Her early career was spent as an alternative school director and English teacher. Green then began to work in photography paired with her writing. Green and her colleague, Jim Gabbard, have collaborated on three books Simplicity, Spaces, and Edge of Visibility. All three titles are available at Eckhart Public Library.
Andrea VanHorne (1940 - 2000) graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and attended John Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, and Butler University in Indianapolis. She was a teacher in the DeKalb Central United School District for 20 years and she taught art at Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne.
The Library is fortunate to have had some of VanHorne's works in our art collection, including the watercolor Stained Glass Window which she donated to EPL in 1997 and the watercolor Drifting which the Library purchased with donations made in her memory.
