His scenes of miners at work, pottery decorators in quiet concentration, bustling streets, intimate domestic interiors, and moments of natural beauty together form a vivid portrait of a community and an era.

An afternoon of art, heritage, and powerful local history — not to be missed. Talk 2 – 3.30pm, tickets £12 and includes a Cream Tea.
