The Library of Esoterica Presents: ARCANA-Art as Divination

Presented by TASCHEN’s acclaimed Library of Esoterica series, ARCANA brings together works by contemporary artists alongside rare historic examples, highlighting Tarot and oracle decks as evolving artistic mediums that blend painting, illustration, and design with archetypal storytelling.

Over centuries, creatives have used the oracle card format to explore identity, ritual, and imagination. ARCANA illuminates this lineage, showing how these symbolic systems continue to inspire art that functions as both mirror and map—a tool of reflection, imagination, and spiritual inquiry.
