About the Film 🎥
Directed by Miriam Chandy Menacherry, this 40-minute film, set in India, tells the story of the Warli tribe as they resist plans to cut down thousands of trees to expand Mumbai’s mass transit system. The film explores the deep connection between the tribe and the forest that is home to both them and the endangered leopard.
