The Legacy Centre’s Community Champions Dinner

On September 7th, 2019, Legacy Centre of Excellence was launched to an audience of 1,500 people. Every year, we celebrate our renewed commitment to our community, our work and the great people who are shaping the future.

Legacy Centre of Excellence is Britain’s largest Black Business and Arts Centre. Founded in 2019 but continuing the “legacy” of the Windrush generation, and the great community leaders, artists, volunteers, activists and entrepreneurs that have supported the development of Britain’s Black and diverse communities since 1948.

Central to our work are our values. On the 26th of October we will be celebrating the work of Legacy Centre of Excellence, the community that we serve and some of the community champions and ambassadors who are vital to our local cultural ecology and economy.

On the evening of the 26th you will enjoy a fantastic 3 course Caribbean fusion meal, and a night of arts, culture and celebration of the great work that is being done in our community, now and in the future.
