The Ledge Theatre Indie Night with Demon Improv

In a twist of cosmic fate, the universe brought Derrick Lee Hood and Jeannie Celgar together, sparking the creation of Demon, a uproarious comedy troupe in LA. Their mission? To summon forth the most devilishly talented improvisers and comedians from the depths of comedy hell and unleash riotous laughter upon the world.

Jeannie Ceglar
Jeannie is a queer comedian, writer, and actor from the Bay Area. Jeannie has years of experience in improv and sketch, they probably have a PHD in comedy. They have studied and performed at UCB, Second City, Comedysportz, Groundlings, Pack Theatre, and other smaller theaters you’ve probably never heard of. Jeannie performs regularly at The Ledge Theater on their house ensemble, Janet, and house sketch team, Dreamboat, at the Pack Theater.

Derrick Hood

Derrick is from a small town outside of the small town Taft, California. He has already won at the game of life by getting to be a Dad and husband. He’s corn fed and has trained and performed at UCB, The Improv Space, Pack Theater, Second City. He also had a public access show in high school with his best friend Scott…I wonder how Scott is?
