The Laws of Foreign Military Assistance: A Conversation with Josh Paul & Susan Akram
Come join us at New England Law | Boston for an insightful discussion on the legalities surrounding foreign military assistance.
On the heels of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Gaza and renewed pressure on the Trump Administration to broker a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, join us for this timely discussion on the laws of US foreign military assistance and when, if at all, human and civil rights, here and abroad, play a role. In this conversation with Josh Paul and Susan Akram, we’ll cover the basic principles governing US foreign military assistance, how it happens in practice, the role of domestic and foreign human and civil rights laws, and where changes should be made to bolster enforcement and further human and civil rights
Josh Paul and Susan Akram will be sharing their expertise and shedding light on this complex topic. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn from two experts in the field.
