About this Event
The Latino Economic Development Council invites you to join us for the inaugural State of the Latino Community, a data-driven and community-centered convening focused on health equity, economic strength, and collective wellbeing.
As Omaha’s Latino population continues to grow, so does its economic and civic influence. This gathering will provide a clear snapshot of community conditions, highlight health disparities impacting Latino families, and elevate cross-sector solutions advancing prevention, access, and long-term resilience.
Our inaugural State of the Latino Community will focus on public health and wellbeing as critical drivers of economic strength and community stability. The program will feature a State of the Latino Community address, a moderated panel with public health and community leaders exploring strategies to reduce disparities and expand access to preventative care, partner highlights and an invitation to deeper cross-sector alignment in support of Latino families across Omaha and Douglas County.
