New style comp for KCH for 2024, We present: "The last man standing".SCHEDULE:
8AM -Doors Open
8AM -Registration and tech open
930AM - Registration and tech close
10AM - Course opens
5PM -Last Round starts (if not sooner if everyone is done)
6PM - Or sooner, payouts and awards.
You MUST be to the shop by 9:30am at the latest to get this started by 10am.
Trucks - Class 2 legal trucks, with a minimum of 20 scale points.
The fees for this event is: $40 Total. $20 for entry fee and $20 for buying gates. You may only buy 20 gates. No more, no less.
The $20 entry fee goes to the shop, the $20 gates fee, is the Cash Prize pot for this event. You will be given tickets for your Gates.
Ok, here is how the event is going to run:
Course is 30 gates.
Random draw for starting orders
Run the 30 gates - battery changes are free with repo "battery box" which are located after gate 10 and after gate 20.
20 minute time limit per 30 gates. About 3-4 trucks will be on course at one time.
Everyone runs the course once. After the round is over, everyone PAYS tickets for their gates. Hit 3 gates, give up 3 tickets, Hit 2 gates, give up 2 tickets. Etc.
Run out of time? Pay one ticket for each gate you didn't progress in the round.
Repairs on course, repo to last gate cleared. 10 point penalty, time runs.
or Off course repair, will cost you 1 ticket and 10 points. Time stops, but you must be back on course within 20 minutes.
Reverses +1, rollovers +5, repo +10, and winches +3, these penalties won't cost you any tickets, but still cost you points.
For each 100 points you accumulate, cumulatively you will also give up 1 ticket.
Each round, the gates will get a little harder, AND Time is decreased by 1 minute. Round 1 is 20 minutes, Round 2 is 19 minutes, 3 is 18, 4 is 17, and round 5 (If we make it that far) will be 15 minutes.
AFTER you give up your 20 tickets for penalties you are out.
Last man standing, wins. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place split the penalty money 50/30/20%
After 5 full rounds, or if the rounds take longer than expected or more people show up than expected, the last round will begin at 5pm, its over. (if it goes that long)
Winner is decided by how many tickets you have left, If that is a tie, then by total points accumulated for all rounds together.
