About this Event
Join the Family Advocacy Program for The Last Drop Film Screening on behalf of Domestic Violence Prevention Month on October 17th, 2024 from 8-10 AM at the Major General James L. Day Conference Center Bldg. 38!
The Last Drop is a revolutionary 40-minute film that shines a spotlight on the lesser-known forms of relationship abuse, like psychological abuse, digital abuse, and gaslighting. With this resource, you can educate your community on the lesser-known forms of abuse— and, more importantly— how to protect themselves before their relationships turn violent.
PLOT SUMMARY: A young woman links minds with her boyfriend using a device that lets couples relive shared memories— but when she spots overlooked signs of abuse, she must escape before he can manipulate her memories in his favor.
Inspired by real memories from survivors and sparks conversation around these types of relationships.
*Please note this will count for the Marine Annual training on Domestic Abuse.
