“Jazz Group of the Year” nominee, The Lao Tizer Band, make their return to the intimate confines of Denver’s premier live music venue, The Soiled Dove Underground on Thursday, June 8, in support of their Billboard Jazz Top 10 CD/DVD combo-pack release, Songs From The Swinghouse! Led by Boulder native pianist, keyboardist, composer and former “Best New Jazz Artist” nominee, Lao Tizer (Special EFX, Down To The Bone), the group also features American Idol star Elliott Yamin, Grammy-winning drum phenom Gene Coye (Leslie Odom Jr, Larry Carlton, Terence Blancherd), Rolling Stone 2022 “Bassist of the Year” nominee Anthony Crawford (Erykah Badu, Alan Holdsworth) & sax wunderkind Danny Janklow (MONKestra, Shelea).
