Saeng will take you on a journey through the recipes and stories behind The Lao Kitchen, sharing the culture, memories, and community that shaped the book. This special event is hosted by Vientiane Noodle Shop and moderated by Kevin Miyazaki, a Milwaukee-based photographer and artist known for his editorial and cookbook work exploring identity, family history, and place.
Your ticket includes an opportunity to meet Saeng, get your book signed, enjoy a thoughtful discussion about how the book came to life, and experience dishes from Vientiane Noodle Shop.
