What Will I Get From The Landscape Course?
- 6 weeks of dedicated time with a Qualified Teacher.
- Lessons about perspective and the key principles of Landscapes, both contemporary & classical.
- Purchase all materials as an ‘Artist Kit’ at below-retail cost and given to you to keep OR bring your own materials.
What Happens Each Week?
- Tuesday evenings, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at The Flamingo Centre, BS10 5DT
- Weekly two hour class which include art history & theory, technical skills and live demonstration.
- Share your progress with your classmates, discuss your work, and receive 1:1 personal instruction from the teacher each week to build your drawing skills.
Choose between:
- Beginner’s Step-By-Step Task.
- Returner’s Intermediate Option.
- The Extension Challenge for more advanced students.
What will I learn?
- You will be taught how to use perspective to plot out your landscapes. You will learn how to :
- Use ink for Traditional East Asian minimalism.
- Subtle contemporary watercolours to create seascapes,
- Expressive Van Gogh style mark-making with watercolour pencils.
- Bold mountain scenes using Oil Pastels.
- We will finish the course with a two-part acrylic piece inspired by The Impressionist painters.
