The LA Pony and Critter Club Derby Day

This event benefits the BEST FRIENDS No-K*ll West Los Angeles Animal Adoption Center. Check In opens at 10 am. Potluck starts at 11:00 am. We ask for a donation of $25.00 online or $30 at the door (though you can provide more if you like!) for your Derby Exeprience. 100% of the money we receive from Eventbrite goes directly to the BEST FRIENDS No-K*ll West LA Animal Adoption Center. We post our receipts on our website Blog, Instagram and Facebook.Suggested donation is $25.00 per person, please, we encourage you to be generous for this deserving cause.

Dress code:

The dress code is formal attire or high fetish attire. A prize for the best Hat will be awarded by our Judges.

Races for the Day:

1. Derby Race (Queen’s Cup Event Race)

2. Steeplechase Race

3. Greyhound Race (National Cup Event Race)

4. Pup and Critter Hurdle Race

5. Trotter Race

6. Pacer Race

After the races, there will be an Arcade Game. This game involves shooting foam darts at human Animal Role Players as they march back and forth, as on an arcade track. If it is hot we may substitute water guns.

The Pony and Critter with the most ribbon points (Blue ribbon = 3 points, Red ribbon = 2 points, Yellow ribbon = 1 point) will be awarded a Derby Grand Trophy.
