THE KOVN at Asylum Chapel. Micro Wellness Retreat. Yoga, Sound-Bath, Dinner

Join us for one of our Micro Retreats that pack the rejuvenating power of a full wellness retreat into one enriching afternoon. Dive into a serene and energizing experience with our grounding and fortifying yoga session, immersive sound bath, and a communal dinner designed to nourish your body and foster new friendships.

We've chosen the amazing Asylum Chapel as the space for this event—that alone is worth coming along for. It's one of our favorite spaces with a unique character. What it lacks in modern conveniences, it more than makes up for in atmosphere. We'll do the usual attention to details such as scent, and the stained glass will take care of the lighting for this one.

Whether it's a new peak position, a deep drop into sound, or a new friendship made over dinner—we're here for it.

For this event, we have:

A rocket-based flow (with modifications for all abilities) with Hannah Whittingham. We're super excited to have Hannah take this class as she produces music and soundscapes that exactly mesh with the practice, creating an almost hypnotic flow.

Side Note: Rocket yoga was created by the Grateful Dead's touring yogi, Larry Schultz, and named by the band's guitarist. It is, obviously, the hippest form of yoga to emerge in millennia (we're unsure if we're even joking here) and mixes Vinyasa and Ashtanga for a super fun flow.

An immersive sound bath from the serene Georgia Wood using gongs, bowls, and a multitude of other instruments to fill the space.

A plant-based dinner created by Ahmbra, grounded in her Italian roots. Expect salads, vegetables, and amazing fresh bread.

Please bring your own mat for the practice. You may also want a blanket for the sound bath, but a jumper will do just fine. We have a few mats and blankets available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This event is BYOB. If you want to bring some wine or a drink to have with the dinner, that's all good, we aren’t going to judge - in fact we may join you. Water and juice will be provided.

Event will start promptly at 4.30 due to the timing of the hall use and the program. Doors will open from 4.20.

There's no refunds but we operate a waitlist so if the event sells out then your ticket may be purchased by another person. Please get in touch if you want to release your ticket to the waitlist (only available if event sells out) and we'll do our best to rehome it and get you a refund.
