Kanakavalli Hyderabad is delighted to present the Kosala Pop Up, showcasing a collection of gorgeous Kosa silk saris from Chhattisgarh. Kosala is a brand working closely with the Dewangan weaving community, the custodian of the Kosa silk craft which is deeply rooted in the history and mythology of the region.
A natural golden silk yarn, Kosa silk is sturdy yet soft, lending itself to exquisite saris that have an inherent radiance and a gentle drape. The collection includes saris handwoven in three traditional and laborious weaving techniques, in a palette encompassing deep, earthy tones, as well as delicate pastels and more vibrant hues.
