Southend’s skyline is getting a colourful makeover this summer as we bring you an uplifting twist on the traditional airshow. On Saturday 25th July, the Eastern Esplanade will transform into a vibrant coastal runway for kites of every shape, size, and colour.
Set between the iconic Roslin Beach Hotel and Billy Hundreds, this free community event invites families, beach‑goers, and thrill‑seekers to spend the day soaking up the atmosphere, enjoying the seaside, and watching the sky come alive.
