THE KING IS ALIVE (2000): DV8 Film Club

DV8 Film Club presents Kristian Levring's THE KING IS ALIVE (2000), the fourth 'official' Dogme95 film.
It follows a group of tourists who, after their bus breaks down in the middle of the Narimbian desert, take shelter in an abandoned town amongst the dunes. As tensions start to rise, one of the passengers decides to re-stage a version of King Lear amidst the burning sands.
This screening will be preceded by the premiere of the DV8 showcase trailer, which will show clips from the upcoming showcase.
Tickets as ever are £5. Cash on the door is accepted, but online payment preferred!
