The fabulous KIMBERLEYS are not to be missed!!Jim and Isobel are a multi-instrumentalist duo with a repertoire idrawn from traditional folk songs of the British Isles. Their honest arrangements, exceptional musicianship, and glorious familial harmonies combine to make an impact much greater than their two-piece line-up. It is magical to witness.
In support a mid-evening slot from Andy Roth, a fine finger-picking guitarist , influences include The Beatles, Bert Jansch & Turlough O' Carolan.
We start the show at 19.30 hrs with floorspots strictly limited to the 1st 45 minutes, with singers, musicians, & poets all welcome to do a turn before bringing on The Kimberleys for the 1st of 2 x 45-minute sets.
There will be a hat collection for the guests in cash, with a suggested minimum contribution of £6 per head, but please give more if you can afford it.
The club premises & CAMRA award-winning bar open at 17.30 on Friday.& is CARD payment only.
It's free entry to OLC Members with a £1 charge to non-members payable at the bar.
