Talk Title: Computational Neuroimaging of Population Mental Health

Speaker Bio: Janine Bijsterbosch has worked in brain imaging since 2007. Following a PhD in Sheffield (UK) and Postdoctoral experience in Oxford (UK), Janine joined Washington University in St Louis in 2019 as Assistant Professor in the Computational Imaging Research Center of the Department of Radiology. Her research program develops computational neuroimaging approaches and leverages epidemiological datasets to identify brain markers of mental health and to elucidate principles of functional brain organization. In addition, Janine is an advocate for Open Science, serving as Handling Editor at Imaging Neuroscience and prior Chair of the Open Science Special Interest Group with the Organization for Human Brain Mapping. Janine is also engaged with teaching efforts as Co-Director of the Systems Neuroscience Course in the Division of Biology & Biomedical Sciences, Co-Chair of the FSL Course Organizing Committee, and lead author of a textbook on functional connectivity analyses, which was published by Oxford University Press in 2017 (Chinese translation published in 2023).
