It's BACK! The big night of the festive season! Fast becoming an annual tradition, and regularly selling out, this night is one for the diary.
Imagine the One Touch Theatre converted into an intimate club, filled with music and dancing. Now add the music, with the Karawane DJs throwing down, dancefloor afrobeat, brassy salsa, and feel-good basslines from Nairobi to NYC.
Last year our guests told us this was the best night out they'd ever had in Inverness, so we knew we had to step things up again!
Join us at 7pm Sharp for a super-fun Highlife dance session with Emmani the African Dancer. Emmani, an incredible dancer from Uganda, representing ACAMHA (The African Carribbean Asian and Mixed Heritage Association).
Emmani will get you moving and also tell you some stories about the roots of this dance, and what it means to him. This is guaranteed to start your night off right- fun, easy to follow and solid good vibes.
On the way in you may have seen a performer on stilts, possibly with some LED's flying around or even some fire spurting into the sky. That's Tinka Sparks, of the world-famous Delighters Circus, who will be illuminating your night in all kinds of ways.
Tinka is also an incredible salsa and bachata dancer, and will be leading dances in the crowd and from the stage, alongside the Cuban Passion Dancers- Tina and Gillian.
Also on the stage are Jimmy Djembe, and Carol Congas, with Nat ,Mya and Kirsty in the crowd on percussion. Carnival face painting and body art is also available from 7pm onwards courtesy of Claire Carson, and there's a dedicated bar in the One Touch for hydration and social lubrication.
And of course, The Karawane DJs + MC Butterscotch will be moving you all night with big sound, big visuals, and huge dancefloor energy.
