From the moment the snowdrops poke their tiny heads above ground in February, we can start looking forward to the steady arrival of an array of spring flowers, from crocuses and daffodils, to bluebells and tulips. But what folklore lies behind these common plants, encountered in gardens, parks, and woodland alike?
These flowers have links with Greek myth, they're beloved by fairies, and they can even help you to find treasure! This talk will explore the folklore and legends associated with daffodils, crocuses, bluebells, primroses, and tulips.
