This beautiful and sensual art form originates from an ancient holistic wisdom. In Helia’s classes, women of all fitness level and all figures (13 and older) enjoy learning new ways to move, on fascinating ageless rhythms. Join them, to experience an enhancement of self-image and an empowerment over your own life as you'll develop deeper intimate connections between your center and your environment; relax, get stronger and more flexible, with better coordination, memory and balance.

Suggested attire: barefoot, a low waist skirt or leggings with a close fitting top (exposing the midriff is recommended but optional). A coin belt or a hip scarf with fringes helps and may be purchased online at low cost.
About the teacher:
Internationally acclaimed dance artist and Master Teacher, Helia has been offering classes on the Treasure Coast since 2010. While her great musical sense magically gives visual life to the sound world, her theater background may explain the exceptional qualities of expression and communication of her Mediterranean style of Dance. Helia's Master level knowledge and experience of Somatic Education enhances the efficiency of her teaching and the very embodied emotional strength of her performances.
She currently offers classes in several location on the Treasure Coast, with the goal of promoting a state of global health.
