A six week improv workshop which ends with a show. All classes on Sundays 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. .. What’s common between SNL, Robin Williams, Tina Fey, Bill Murray, Whose Line is it anyway?, Steve Carell and Amy Poehler ? Other than comedy, it’s Improvisational Theatre or ‘Improv’ or ‘Impro’ - the most sensational performance art form created in the last 100 years. Imagine 2 folks going on stage and creating a scene out of nowhere (with no predetermined script), just by playing along, while the audience sits amazed by the magical chemistry of these ‘improvisers’. That’s improv - Creating stories, art and laughter out of nowhere. To be an improviser, one needs to strengthen skills like spontaneity, active listening and story telling. This can be achieved through playful exercises and fun games, which Improv Gurus have invented over the years and we’ve curated with our Nautankibaaz Tadka . These exercises/games have been used globally to enrich individuals and teams with improv skillsets, which we believe can change lives in a profound positive way. And here we bring for you all of these curated in a 6 sessions workshop. ... About Coach Ankur Sardana: Ankur is the founder of the improv group - Nautankibaaz Improv Collective (NIC) and heads design at Tata Digital. He has always been enamoured by storytelling and was a part of amateur theatre for the longest time, till he discovered `improv`. His journey in improv is a 8 year old passionate pursuit into community building. A community which is based on empathy, play, opportunity and sticking to one`s personality. He firmly believes that improv has a lot of answers to tough societal questions that we face currently. The group NIC, regularly conducts workshops and shows across NCR (and now streaming online across the world) for kids, adults and elders alike. He is an NID (National Institute of Design) and CBS (College of Business Studies) alumnus. He got most of his initial improv chops in Seattle and NYC at the Unexpected Productions. ….
