In this intimate recital, pianist Kaisar Anvar traces his journey as a Uyghur artist from Xinjiang, China, to the United States, celebrating the music that has shaped him along the way. The program will include masterpieces by Beethoven, Scarlatti, and Chopin; popular Uyghur tunes; and Carl Vine's "Five Bagatelles," a work of deep personal significance to Anvar.
