The Joneses formed in 2017 by five passionate musicians and devout Smiths fans and have become a unique five-piece tribute to The Smiths and Morrissey; bringing the excitement and drama of the live Smiths gigs throughout the UK.
You can expect the haunting guitar riff of How Soon is Now? and the recreation of Johnny Marr’s fast, jangly picked and arpeggiated guitar parts of This Charming Man, that defined the sound of The Smiths.
The Joneses reproduce original arrangements of all the hit songs and some from the top shelf of Morrissey’s solo career.
The Joneses set lists are a unique blend of deep cuts, celebrated B-sides and the hits you love to hear. Their sets include: -

The Joneses stand out, as there are usually a few surprise gems thrown into their sets. Some great Smiths and Morrissey songs that don’t normally feature in tributes, but are much loved by Smiths and Morrissey fans alike. They also play a selection of indie cult classics from bands such as Echo and the Bunnymen, Talking Heads and The Cure.
