The Jim Doherty Trio

Jim Doherty has been leading trios, quartets, small groups & big bands for over 50 years.

There is very little in the music scene that Jim has not tackled with his usual flair, attention to detail and humour from writing for stage, radio, TV, Movies, jingles to backing some of the most famous luminaries of the music scene worldwide.

His long-term association with the great guitarist, Louis Stewart was severed last year with the untimely death of Louis. With Jim will be his remaining long-term collaborator, Dave Fleming on double bass and on drums, Myles Drennan.

Jim was delighted to learn that the venue has, to its credit, a Petrof Grand Piano, a very rare asset indeed for a pub venue.
