The 25th Jazz Club Celebration welcomes the Jennifer Scott Quartet--Vancouver-born vocalist and jazz pianist specializing in jazz, blues and world music. Jennifer is considered one of the most important jazz artists working in Canada and the United States today. She garners loyal followers from sold-out concerts across North America, whether large music festivals or exclusive local club performances. Appearing with such jazz luminaries as: Tommy Banks, Don Thompson, Kenny Wheeler, Skywalk, and Hugh Fraser, Jazz Time notes…“Scott has set herself apart from the jazz-vocalist pack with her mesmerizing renditions of the most unlikely tunes... her warm, flexible contralto, … [bringing] a striking emotional intelligence to everything she sings, no matter what the context.
