The Jason Washington Group plays the second installment of the Kente Summer Madness Concert Series presented by Kente Arts Alliance.
Come early to kick off the vibe with a soulful set from DJ Bus Crates. Bus Crates is a DJ, musician, and vinyl junkie from Pittsburgh. He’s also made some strides internationally in Canada and Germany. Though he frequently travels, his roots are firmly planted right here in Pittsburgh.
Taking the stage after Bus Crates' set is Jason Washington, a musician and educator based in Pittsburgh. Jason began his musical journey in church at the age of three. He pursued his musical interests later at CAPA high school, then followed up at Temple University. He plays a variety of music including jazz, gospel, and R&B.
Grab your friends and have a night to remember!
Doors will open at 6pm for the pre-show happy hour with DJ Bus Crates. The concert will begin at 7pm.
