The Janeways with special guests Neon Daisy and Three Wheel Horse at Turntable in Indianapolis on Saturday, January 17!Who says grown women can't start a rock band? Meet the Janeways. All grown. All women. All fun. The Janeways are an all-female 80s and 90s rock-n-roll cover band. During the pandemic in November of 2020, these women picked up their instruments for the first time. Despite the fact that they had never played their instruments before, they craved to be challenged, learn something new and have fun doing it! And they are!
Now playing regularly at local bars, restaurants, community festivals and music venues, these ladies bring the fun and energy wherever they go, paying homage to Tom Petty, Cheap Trick, Poison and Joan Jett along the way. While rocking on stage never gets old, the group also hopes to inspire others along the way. It's never too late to learn something new, challenge yourself and bring joy to others through music!
Joining the Janeways is special guest Neon Daisy, Indy's vibrant musical force. Neon Daisy is the ultimate all-girl alternative-pop fusion band. Get ready to turn up the volume and hit the dance floor! Known for their electrifying alternative sound, join them as they step into a dazzling new chapter by reimagining current pop hits with their signature twist!
Rounding out the musical evening is a special appearance by Three Wheel Horse, inspired by heavy 90s alt-rock, get ready to jam to favorites and originals by this incredible band on the Indy rock scene.
