Hellooo beautiful people! My name is Dr. Samarpan Buchalter & I’m the creator of the Yanomami Healthcare Sovereignty Project. JOIN US on July 11th at the Handlebar 6-10PM for the JAMazon Jungle JAMboree, a benefit concert raising funds for our healthcare project to create solutions for the malnutrition crises plaguing the Yanomami Tribe.

I’ve been living & working in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest intermittently for a decade & am thrilled to share the amazing work we are doing with the Yanomami while hosting an intentional event, bring our community together, & having you help make our project a HUGE SUCCESS!

• The Handlebar will be decorated and transformed into a "Bioluminescent Jungle: Radiate the Light of the Forest" we so we encourage you to dress in this epic JUNGLE THEME! It can be anything from an animal inspired costume like a jaguar or peacock to your most creative expression of what the jungle means to you!
• Our opening ceremony will be led by the beautiful Stacey Vann with wisdom shares & sacred sounds, followed by legendary musical performances by Love Brynnevere, Katie Dineen, Chet Love, Madeline Earth, & other surprise guests!
• Sean Seid will be gracing us with his one-man comedy/music/philosophical soul blasting fusion performance piece & I (Dr. Samarpan) will share a presentation to shed light on my work with the Yanomami Tribe & the stories I brought back from the depths of the Amazon Rainforest to enjoy with you!
• Local artisans will be selling their hand made treasures, healing magic, salon-level jungle hair braid services on site, & much more while you enjoy a custom cocktail/mocktail menu curated to whisk you away to the heart of Brazil!

100% of your ticket investment goes to fund my team’s upcoming expedition in July 2024 to collaboratively strategize with the Yanomami communities to implement the next phases of our project. Your donation will directly support these vital aspects of our project including but not limited to:

- Purchasing medications needed desperately by the remote healthcare bases in the jungle to help with medical emergencies, acute malnutrition, parasite infections, malaria, and other diseases/illnesses plaguing the community.

- Food/transport for the Yanomami leaders, community members, and doctors on our team making the long voyage to attend this annual meeting which is critical to their survival.

- Logistical support to help secure planes, trucks, boats, and the fuel necessary to complete the multiple phases of travel necessary to arrive in the Yanomami Territory.

- Infrastructural development for our project to ensure our ability to fund future trips and continue to build positive momentum in our efforts to best serve the Yanomami.
