Beginners and New members! Here’s an opportunity to “*learn by doing*” if you’ve ever had questions about potting orchids. Challenge members of the Jacksonville Orchid Society with your tough orchids and questions.This is NOT a re-potting service but instead a clinic intended to teach members and the public how to repot their own orchids. With that in mind, please bring no more than 5 orchids per individual.
The first Saturday of the month from February through November, JOS members are available to talk with you, answer questions and help you re-pot your orchids. We will be at Hagan Ace Hardware at 12501 San Jose Blvd. (see https://goo.gl/maps/ve7x2zAgJRrZwnTd8) in Jacksonville from 10 am until 1 pm. Plan on joining us afterwards when we’ll adjourn for lunch at the local Sonny’s BBQ.
In addition, Ace usually has a special orchid sale with big discounts on orchids and orchid supplies and bigger discounts on out of bloom orchids. Don’t miss it!
