The Jack Schantz Jazz Unit featuring Barbara Rosene

Trumpeter Jack Schantz is one of Northeast Ohio's titans of jazz; he served as director of the jazz program at the University of Akron, and as the artistic director for the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra from 1994-2009. He performs with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra and the Akron Symphony, and traveled with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, the Artie Shaw Orchestra and Woody Herman. Songstress Barbara Rosene is a Cleveland native with a performing career in New York featuring stints with Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, Les Paul and the Harry James Orchestra. The 2025 Collinwood Jazz Festival is cosponsored by the Music Performance Trust Fund, the Morning Glory Angel and Local 4 Music Fund.
