This exciting evening, proudly sponsored by Lalo Tequila, aims to highlight the intersection of hip-hop and fashion, showcasing the profound influence these cultural forces have on each other and the community.

Lila Nikole, renowned for her innovative designs and significant contributions to the fashion industry, will be the centerpiece of the evening. Currently, her Grammy award and iconic designs for legendary artists such as Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar are on display at the Art of Hip Hop.

The highlight of the evening will be an engaging panel discussion titled “Intersection of Hip Hop Music and Fashion.” This discussion will feature Lila Nikole and DJ Dinero, moderated by the renowned Supa Cindy. The panel will explore the symbiotic relationship between hip-hop and fashion, delving into how these two cultural forces influence and inspire each other.

Additionally, Lila Nikole will unveil a limited-edition reversible bucket hat designed exclusively for the Art of Hip Hop, available in two unique designs. The hats will be available for purchase for $32 at the event, offering attendees a chance to own a piece of fashion history.

Following the discussion, the evening will continue with a dynamic DJ set by DJ Dinero and complimentary cocktails provided by Lalo Tequila.

Who's who?

Lila Nikole: Lila Nikole Rivera, founder of the Lila Nikole Collection, is an esteemed American costume designer. She made history as the first Latin costume designer to manage the wardrobe for The Super Bowl Halftime Show featuring The Weeknd. Born in Queens, New York, to Puerto Rican parents, Rivera graduated magna cum laude from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Her designs have been showcased at New York Fashion Week and featured in Vogue, Elle, and Sports Illustrated. Rivera has styled top celebrities like Will Smith, Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, Gigi Hadid, and Serena Williams. She has collaborated with NFL and NBA teams and served as the lead wardrobe stylist for TV programs including The Grammys, BET Awards, and Black Girls Rock. Her work is also displayed in The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and The NFL Museum.

DJ Dinero: Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, DJ Dinero began his music career at 14. Known for his innovative techniques, he has worked with clients like Tommy Hilfiger, Heineken, and Hot 97, and has DJed at top nightclubs across the US. His music is featured on JAMZ 96.3 in Upstate New York and the Music Choice network, reaching over 60 million homes. Dinero's remixes of artists like Rihanna and Pharrell have earned him a "Remixer of the Year" nomination at the Global Spin Awards. He also created the acclaimed concept album “Watching Over The Throne,” featuring The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac, and collaborated with Japan's DJ Honda on "Reggae Sounds."

Supa Cindy (Moderator): Supa Cindy is an award-winning radio, TV, and media personality. Since 2000, she has been a co-host and entertainment reporter on South Florida's top-rated station, 99JAMZ. She has also hosted numerous local and international entertainment television shows. Supa Cindy runs her own media and marketing company, "Cin D.," helping clients achieve their media and marketing goals. Beyond entertainment, she is a dedicated community voice, founding the nonprofit "Supa Friends, Inc." in 2003 to mentor and inspire youth. She is also actively involved in health advocacy through campaigns like "Broward is Greater Than Aids" and "Broward Black Treatment Advocates Network."
