Handbuilding Pottery
The Intentional Impact Capstone Experience brings participants together for an evening of handbuilding pottery, thoughtful conversation, and shared creativity. As we close another quarter of Interwoven, we'll pause to reflect, connect, and create something meaningful alongside one another.
Guided by a local ceramic artist, participants will learn the art of handbuilding pottery while crafting a unique keepsake to take home after firing. No artistic experience is required, only a willingness to embrace the creative process and enjoy an evening in community.
Clay is shaped. Lives are shaped. Relationships shape us. Working with clay reminds us that a meaningful life is not discovered all at once-it is formed gradually through countless small choices, experiences, relationships, and moments of courage. Every gentle press, curve, and imperfection becomes part of the finished piece, just as every season of our lives contributes to who we are.
Guided by local artist Dina Bredahl, participants will learn the ancient art of handbuilding pottery while shaping and personalizing a one-of-a-kind piece. As we create alongside one another, we'll pause to reflect on what has shaped us, what we choose to carry forward, and the strength found in authentic connection.
By the end of the evening, you'll have created a one-of-a-kind pottery piece that is as unique as the hands and the story that shaped it.
Prerequisite for Participation:
This capstone experience is reserved for participants who attended at least one Intentional Impact gathering in July or August. As the culmination of our quarter together, this evening is designed to build upon the relationships, conversations, and shared experiences we've cultivated along the way.

What to Expect
- Come in comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a little messy.
- Bring an open mind and a willingness to create-no artistic experience is necessary.
- All materials and instruction will be provided.
- You'll create one hand-built pottery piece that reflects your personal story and values.
- Your finished piece will be kiln-fired and available for pickup approximately two/three weeks after class.
Additionally, please note that childcare is not available for this event, and children may not attend. Thank you for respecting this policy, as it ensures a space free of distractions for the attendees.
When registering for an event, all required fields on the order form must be completed in entirety. Incomplete order forms will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.
Cancellations
If you can no longer attend this event, we kindly ask that you notify us at least 72 hours prior so we may offer the space to a participant on the waitlist. Thank you for honoring your commitment to participation.
