About this Event
A Conference Like None Other
WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS LIVING IN PERSECTION?
WHAT CAN WE DO TO REACH THE NATIONS AMONG US?
Nik Ripken, bestselling author of The Insanity of God, invites you to gather with other Christian leaders in order to discover life-changing lessons learned from interviewing over 600 persecuted brothers and sisters from 72 countries. Sitting at their feet, the Ripkens learned from the suffering church how to thrive amidst suffering, not merely survive.

Sitting at their feet, the Ripkens learned from the suffering church how to thrive amidst suffering, not merely survive.
Nik and Ruth, with 3 children, served for over 32 years obeying Christ’s command to share Jesus across the globe. After 7 years in Malawi & South Africa, they moved to Nairobi, Kenya to begin work among the Somali people. Since that time they have journeyed globally among people whom, when they gave their lives to Jesus, faced increasing persecution for their faith. These persecuted believers modeled for the Ripkens how to trust Jesus completely. Many of these lessons have been lost or forgotten by the church in the West.
Reaching the Nations Among Us
The U.S. Census Bureau reports that more than 60 million residents over the age of five years old, or about 20% of the U.S. population, speak a language other than English at home. God has brought families from "from every nation, tribe, people and language" to our communities.
Dr. Stu Cocanougher, author of Reaching the World Across the Street, is bringing together a variety of presenters and musicians in order learn about ministry to internationals from first-hand perspectives.
These includes testimonies:
- Imprisoned and tortured for Christ in East Asia
- Telling my Muslim parents that I am now following Jesus
- What Christians in Syria want the American Church to know
