The Innovative Breakfast Club: The city they'll inherit
About this Event
The Innovative Breakfast Club
The city they'll inherit: a conversation between generations
ING has partnered with national journalist Emily Wright to host a series of Innovative Breakfast Clubs, designed to showcase some of the pioneering work taking place across the built world.
Our next event will be about the future of cities. As our urban environments continue to evolve, there is an exciting opportunity to understand how young people envision the places they will inherit, and how those perspectives can inform the decisions being made today.
This event will bring together emerging voices from and experienced industry leaders for an open and candid conversation about the future of cities. Exploring everything from culture, community and public space to infrastructure, inclusivity and sustainability, the discussion will examine what matters most to younger generations, what they believe cities need more and less of, and how those shaping the built environment can engage more meaningfully with the people who will ultimately define its future.
By placing young people and industry experts in direct conversation, we aim to create a genuine dialogue between generations, encouraging the exchange of ideas, challenges and new perspectives to help shape a shared vision for the cities of the future
