About this Event

There's something quietly radical about choosing to slow down. In a world that rewards speed, picking up a needle and thread, and staying with it, is its own kind of practice.
In this two-hour workshop, you'll create a geometric embroidery piece centered on the Inner Eye motif: a symbol of clarity, intuition, and the connection between what we carry inside and what we bring into the world. Working in deep indigo on a clean white ground, you'll learn three core stitches: the backstitch for the diamond frame, straight stitches for sun-like bursts of detail, and the fine curved work that brings the eye at the center to life.
No experience needed. The design is guided, the pace is gentle, and the room will be held in both English and Spanish.
Each participant leaves with a finished 6" hoop piece and everything they need to keep going: hoop, fabric, needle, thread, and step-by-step instructions included.

Note: the above design is only an example. We'll be stitching a simpler, original design that can be completed during the workshop.
