A Two-Part Workshop Series for Fitness Enthusiasts Seeking More Balance, Better Recovery, and Lasting Well-Being.
Workshop 1: Driven or Drained?
When the pursuit of fitness creates anxiety and stress, it's time to understand who's really in charge.
This workshop explores the internal drivers that can emerge during injury recovery, setbacks, and time away from training. Using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, participants will learn how different parts of themselves respond to frustration, fear, urgency, and identity shifts, helping them build greater self-awareness, resilience, and a healthier relationship with recovery.
Workshop 2: The Fit but Frazzled Mind
Managing Stress, Anxiety, and the Pressure to Always Be Improving
Understand the internal system that fuels overtraining, perfectionism, and the fear of falling behind.
This workshop explores the mental and emotional patterns that often accompany high achievement, performance goals, and fitness-focused lifestyles. Participants will learn practical Parts Work tools for navigating stress, anxiety, perfectionism, and self-pressure while creating a more sustainable path toward growth and well-being.
Led by Scott Doniger, a Boulder-based chronic stress counselor and facilitator, this workshop draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS)–informed Parts Work to help you stay grounded, self-led, and connected in your relationships.

While the workshops are designed to complement one another, each session is also a standalone experience. Participants are welcome to attend either workshop individually or participate in both for a deeper exploration of the material.
