Ron Samworth has been at the forefront of Vancouver's creative music scene for over 30 years. For this special performance at All-City, he leads the Pat Pending Trio, a forward looking ensemble performing original compositions and the occasional deconstructed standard. Samworth and the Pat Pending Trio celebrate freedom and innovation, and draw from a wide sonic palette and are indebted to everything in the natural world. The music is spacious and textural, swinging and thoughtful.
