The Industry Talks: Locating The Pinnacle Creative

SAE welcomes BEA1991 for a 90-minute interactive masterclass exploring artistic identity, process, and the idea of the “Human Creative Existence.”

Blending music, spirituality, and personal practice, BEA1991 will share insights from her multidisciplinary journey and introduce tools to help artists reconnect with their “Pinnacle Creative”, the most honest version of themselves.

The session moves between talk, group exercises, and open dialogue, creating space for reflection, activation, and exchange.

Format:

• 30 min — Artist talk & creative tools
• 20 min — Group exercises
• 40 min — Q&A and discussion

Bea has collaborated with artists such as Dev Hynes (Blood Orange), Sega Bodega, Porches, Amnesia Scanner, and Benny Sings, among others, and has toured alongside artists like Caroline Polachek, Robyn, and Yves Tumor.

Open to musicians, producers, and creatives looking to deepen their connection to their work and creative identity.

BEA1991 (Beatriz de Rijke) is an Anglo-Dutch mixed media artist with a background in aerial acrobatics. She calls herself a pantheist, polyfocal artist. Her practice reflects and transposes an ongoing personal investigation into the “Human Creative Existence”.

Through her artist counselling practice (2021-2026), she helps artists locate their Pinnacle Creative: the essential “no BS” maker hiding within their emotional landscape. This work has led Bea to work with people and places like Andrew Callaghan from Channel 5, Because Music, Potato Head Bali, ECCO Leather, Axel Arigato, The London Contemporary Orchestra, Goldsmiths, and Iconoclast.

One Object Shop is her material project in bèta, set for soft-launch in 2026 spring: a self-run arts brand that moves at the speed of erosion, slow, deliberate; impossible to rush. There you’ll find original buyables like handmade objects by Bea, vinyl, merch you actually want to wear, and ephemeral collaborations with other designers, self-taught makers and musicians.

Bea has collaborated with and written for artists like Dev Hynes / Blood Orange, Sega Bodega, Porches, Amnesia Scanner, Benny Sings, Freeka Tet, Sassy009, Priori and Patrick Holland, Stuart Matthewman, Natalia Lacunza and Liam Howe, and toured alongside artists like Blood Orange, Caroline Polacheck, Robyn, Yves Tumor and Sega Bodega.
