Ardha is no different.'- Vidhya SubramanianThe Incomplete Dream : Ardha is a dance and spoken word work conceived, choreographed, and performed by Vidhya Subramanian. Krishna is often the beloved hero. The work subverts this power structure and turns the spotlight on Radha as the very essence of creation. Beauty is her cloak,sensuality, her extravagance, ardor, her potency.Music for Ardha has been co-conceptualized by me and composed by Shreya Devnath, using pan Indian music genres and lyrics written and sourced in various languages. This work is presented in three parts: Adhara, Dhara, and Aradhana.Join us at the warehouse to experience the Mumbai premiere of the performance!The performance will be presented as part of G5A Warehouse Performance Grant Season 24-25.Taking another step towards our belief in creating a culturally vibrant society that enables dignity for all, the performance grant was born out of our commitment to nurturing creativity, excellence, and resilience with a focus on non-mainstream cultural practitioners.
