About this Event

The Addison Lecture is a new, annual series devoted to how progressive politicians, policymakers and practitioners can come to together to help transform the state to renew and rebuild the nation.

FGF executive director Nathan Yeowell will give the first lecture, making the case for a fundamental change in the way we think about the state; the need for a positive 21st century vision of the nation; and the role that think tanks and other policymakers can and should play in helping realise and sustain that vision.

The lecture will be chaired by Sunday Times deputy political editor Lara Spirit.
