About this Event
The cost of living crisis has hit hard in the UK, affecting the majority of households. However, due to existing inequalities between and within local areas and different demographics, some have been hit much harder than others. This event will explore the latest research carried out by WBG and OSARCC, providing insight into how women in Oxfordshire with lived experience of domestic violence and/or sexual abuse are impacted by the cost of living crisis.
Speakers:
- Mary-Ann Stephenson, Director, WBG (Chair)
- Anneliese Dodds MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Women & Equalities
- Emma Thackray, Senior Research & Data Officer & report co-author, WBG
- Yasmeen Arif, drop-in facilitator & report co-author, OSARCC
- Layla Moran MP (TBC)
- A member of Oxfordshire County Council (TBC)
- Expert by experience (TBC)
