A Celebration of Our Victories, Our Struggles, and Our Future
Imani, the seventh day of Kwanzaa, is the day we honor our faith—faith in our people, our purpose, our leaders, our teachers, and our community. On this powerful day, we celebrate the victories that carried us forward and the struggles that shaped our strength. We salute our ancestors, our builders, and the visionaries who laid the foundation for generations to come.
THE DAY OF FEASTING – KARAMU
Imani is also the Day of Feasting, a time for community to gather in unity, joy, and gratitude.
We invite everyone to contribute to our Karamu Feast Table.
Please bring a vegan, vegetarian, or plant-based dish so that every member of our community can enjoy the meal together.
Suggested contributions include:
• Cooked vegan/vegetarian entrées
• Fresh fruit
• Plant-based desserts
• Vegetable trays
• Drinks
• Potluck-style family dishes
WHAT TO EXPECT
Join us for an uplifting celebration filled with:
• Music
• Networking
• Cultural Performances
• Community connection and joy
As we close out the holiday and step into a new year, we come together in the spirit of Imani—building, creating, and believing in the power of our people.
